My first harvest of 2023!

In the past 2 years of gardening I have started my seeds indoors in March or April but this year I decided to try something different. Since I had a wedding to go to in New Orleans this year at the end of May and I was going to be gone for 7 days I decided to wait to plant any seeds until after I got back from that trip so that the people that came over to take care of my cat while I was gone didn't have to also water 20+ plants while they were here. 😂

Well, I didn't end up planting my seeds until June 3rd which was 1-2 months later than I have in the past. So this year is basically just an experimental year to see what I can grow and harvest in a shorter growing season. I'm honestly suprised at how big my plants have gotten this year after just 2 1/2 months! I'm also surprised that I was already able to harvest a decent amount of vegetables this past Tuesday! Here they are:
