In the past 2 years of gardening I have started my seeds indoors in March or April but this year I decided to try something different. Since my husband and I had his cousin's wedding to go to in New Orleans this year at the end of May and we were going to be gone for 7 days I decided to wait to plant any seeds until after we got back from that trip so that the people that came over to take care of our cat while we were gone didn't have to also water 20+ plants while they were here. 😂
Well, I didn't end up planting my seeds until June 3rd which was 1-2 months later than I have in the past. So this year is basically just an experimental year to see what I can grow and harvest in a shorter growing season. I'm honestly suprised at how big my plants have gotten this year after just 2 1/2 months! I'm also surprised that I was already able to harvest a decent amount of vegetables this past Tuesday! Here they are:
And here is what my garden is looking like right now:
And here are all of my inside plants! 😂
I have been propagating a lot of succulent leaves this year and therefore I have been getting a ton of baby succulents to grow! 😍 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 I'll actually have a bunch of baby succulents available to buy down the road this year so definitely keep an eye out for that post in the coming months! 😁👍
